The Selkirk Chamber of Commerce is encouraging people of all ages to consider the topics of history, landscape, Lake Ontario, family fun, pet fun and more, through its photo competition, and today marks the launch of this year's contest!

Organized by the North Erie Shore Historical Society, Heritage Day festivities returned to the Selkirk Centennial Community Centre on Monday February 19, 2024.

Knitters and crocheters are asked to create and donate yarn poppies which will be made into drapings that will adorn the veteran memorial gates for Remembrance Day for years to come.

Jenny Bryce, president of the Selkirk Chamber of Commerce and enthusiastic booster for her town, was named the Volunteer of the Year out of a list of nine nominees.
