The Chamber is excited to announce a new Chamber Referral program.
The Chamber Referral aims to reward members who play an active role in helping the Chamber grow its membership, understanding the importance in contributing to the Selkirk and Area community and enhancing member businesses, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations.
Now ask yourself “Which non-member clients, suppliers, non-profits, places of worship, farmers or friends of mine are either based in Selkirk or do business with Selkirk organizations?” These organizations benefit from the work the Selkirk Chamber performs, so let’s invite them to sign their organizations up as a member!
How It Works:
- Identify a business that you think would benefit from joining the Selkirk Chamber, and let them know you’re referring them to us.
- Submit the Member Referral Form, below, with your contact information and the referral’s contact information.
- If your referral joins the Selkirk Chamber of Commerce within 90 days of receiving the referral and pays for one full year of membership dues, you’ll receive a $10 credit towards your upcoming membership renewal and recognition in the Chamber’s e-newsletter with a link to your website.
Terms and Conditions
- When we contact the referred business, we will mention you or your company as the referring business. This provides an opportunity for you to strengthen your business relationships and expand your network.
- There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. The more businesses you refer, the more you can benefit from the Chamber’s network and resources.
- If you receive enough credit to cover the full cost of your upcoming membership renewal, we will carry over the credit for the next year’s membership renewal. This means that you can continue to benefit from your referrals year after year.
- To be eligible for the referral credit, the referring member must be in good standing with the current year’s dues fully paid. This ensures that all members of the Chamber are active and engaged in the business community.
